She went after trouble. Now she doesn't know how to deal with it. Some people actually prefer to be blind rather than finding out they're being betrayed. I don't know if that's her case or not.

My husband and I don't have each other's e-mail password, not because we have anything to hide, but it is private. We trust each other that much.

Give me a break.

I suppose if she had, instead, run across his My Space site and saw this girl post out there that she would also have been 'going after' trouble?

I haven't read one post here that said she was right to have read his email. But she did, now she knows what she knows. How exactly does she now close the barn door after the horse has bolted? 'Play dumb', I suppose? Yeah, that works in the real world...!

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

How is this in any way about beating up the OP over whether or not she should read this butthead's email?

She was away and the guy met up with another chick. Duh. Who's guilty here?

Personally I'd print out the offending email and leave it on the kitchen table with a good bye note.

Just because someone post something on a public forum... does not mean it is ok to be rude or horible to that person....

To the OP... I am sorry that you have found this information.... if I were in your shoes I would contact this woman by e-mail or myspace message and tell her that you know about her and your husband... tell her that she needs to break it off and never contact him again and that she is just 1 of many poor woman who have been conned by your husband.... Then I would be making plans to get myself out of that house as quickly and safely as I could.... in truth if he has done this once he will do it again...

I found that reaction [picking on the OP for looking] strange too. I am wondering who ( if the chance arose) would not look if the email box was open...

If you dont want to physically confront him, print the email like rebeccajo stated, leave a small note of explainatin and get to a safe place asap. I wish you luck, and hope everything is ok with you. And dont worry you were not wrong at looking at the email.

To dam right would i look if the email box was open and I thought there was something going on. Then if i saw what she did i would be saying something pretty dam soon. Call him on the phone when he is not around if he has an anger problem, then if he sounds like he is getting dangerous, leave before he gets home, just have a plan.

I would pack up my belongings AND cats and leave!!!

I'd do the opposite........his stuff would be packed (or thrown...however you want to state it) on the lawn and the locks changed by the time he got home from work.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

This morning b4 I go to work I got on the computer and my husband's MSN was signed on. I saw there were a few new emails in his mailbox so I got curious and opened them(I know that's wrong...)...and I happened to find out that he has a MySpace Account, and that he's been talking to this girl named Trina and he was telling her about how much fun he had with her on the past weekend(and the date on that mail was during me being in Hong Kong visiting my family)...and he also said that he would have to go see her again...he was asking her for her phone number so he could call her....

I know I was wrong for "peeking" at his mails but now I found this out I don't even know if I should be worried...I really dunno what to do...should I even confront him because he has a really bad temper problem I can't even tell him anything he will go nuts...

I really dunno what to do!!!

If you read his e-mails that tells me you already had trust issues, but given what you found out I think you're right to be worried.

They may just be friends; I have a friend who just went on vacation with a guy who isn't her boyfriend. They're both in relationships and they're all secure enough for my female friend and her attached male friend to go on vacation just as friends. However...most people aren't like that.

It sounds like you and he need to have a 'come to Jesus' talk but if you're afraid he's going to abuse you then you have much bigger problems than infidelity. Do you have any trusted friends/relatives in the USA, or maybe a trusted clergy member you could talk to?

Depending on where you are in the country there are phone numbers you can call for help when in a violent relationship. Before confronting him have a plan just in case things go bad fast. Have a bag packed, make a preliminary call and explain that situation (the number in Indiana is 1-800-332-7385) it is confidential and they can help you with everything. They have a website (http://www.violenceresource.org/) and you can also find help by county (http://www.aardvarc.org/dv/states/inddv.shtml) but after you visit the websites be sure to clear your history.. heres how in case you don't know :)

Now THESE are intelligent words - no judgment, only good information that may help the original poster: kudos txgirl .

To the OP: Please take care of yourself. Nothing matters more to us (to me anyways) than your safety. You will resolve your problems with your husband the way it's safer and better for you, and know this is a safe place for you. I wish you the best of luck and my prayers are with you. I have been in your shoes and know that anger problems are not to be taken lightly, so again, please remain safe. (F)

Peace, L.
