Should I do an Inquiry about my case?

Good morning, I applied for my mom August 2020. I have only gotten the acceptance notice. At the bottom of the notice it says Potomac had sent the notice. But when I check the online status this is what it says: (Look in the picture) I don't know what to do because Nebraska is already in November 2020 according to proccessing times but Potomac is only in January 2020. It has been so long without getting even the approval. I am scared that if I do the inquiry they would put my case at the bottom of the waiting list and I would have to wait even longer. Anybody else has been in this situation? Thanks in advance.

You just have to wait, patiently till your turn comes around. You have not been skipped. COVID has increased time frames.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Does it really matter?  USCIS can transfer the case anywhere it wants and whenever it wants to balance their workload.

It does because according to processing times you can do an Inquiry.

I haven't seen inquiries provide much useful information.  Good luck on your journey.  I hope you Mother's case is smooth and rapid.....
