As of today, USCIS is processing AP's for Mid November 2020 at MSC. My mom's AP acceptance was June 30, 2020. We are almost at 10 months without the AP being approved. Submitted inquiry online on January 26 and it still has not been assigned to anyone yet (that is what it says online). Biometrics were done January 21. I did not appy for an EAD for my mom. She is 76 years old. This is fustrating. What should my next step be? My documents are being processed by the National Benefits Center......I think....I dont know if it was moved. All my forms (I-485, I-130 and I-131) had MSC as the prefix. What should I do next?

Were there any RFEs issued for her I-485?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

No RFE's were issued. I was very meticulous when submitting her documents. I sent in proof of health insurance, all her bank statements, proof of ownership of her properties abroad, her pension information, everything was sent in. The case status on USCIS does not state any RFE's were issued. I tried to send in a Service Request about the other service request that they have not assigned and got an error message (which some folks here said they have gotten too). I have no idea what to do next. I don't need a lawyer as our case is pretty simple. Mom has traveled tons to the US before without every overstaying and has nothing at all that biometrics would flag....she has never driven, doesn't know what the inside of a court room looks like and has never even spoke to a police ever....so....not sure what's up.

@Pinkrlion, I know that the case was assigned to MSC but sometimes they move them. Also, I have seen that the cases are taking a long time for the AOS portion to go through. My issue is with the Advance Parole - that is what is taking longer than Normal. My service center says that they are now processing Advance Parole for November 18th,, 2020. Our Advance Parole NOA date was June 30th, 2020. They are 5 months past our NOA date.

Update: I called the service center on Tuesday and they said the ticket has not been assigned as to why my mom's AP is taking so long. They didn't have an answer, however today - Thursday, 2 days later, I got a notification about a status change on my mom's 1-485 case that says "new card is being produced". I assume that is her green card. This also means it was issued without an interview - but then my mom is 76 years old, a retired elementary school teacher, sent in her proof of medical insurance documents, the medical certification, proof of funds in bank, property, proof of pension, so I assume with all that and her age, they just went ahead and approved her.
