Anyone aware of interviews being scheduled for immigrant visas in Tashkent? Their website says they are doing mission critical cases only but we heard that someone had already been scheduled for an immigrant visa for April 1st. Anyone?

Russians and Uzbeks visit each other’s US consulates quite often. Especially true for Russians because they have large wait times.

I am not shopping. We have someone in Tashkent waiting for the US Consulate to reopen.

You cannot 'consulate shop' for consulates that may have a shorter wait time

Moscow IV unit is almost completely closed. It looks like they have even posted a message telling applicants to find another consulate:

Other IV posts (e.g. Warsaw, etc.) can accept the cases because of the consular situation in Moscow: https://fam.state.gov/fam/09FAM/09FAM050404.html "Unless physically present in the consular district as described above (see paragraph a above) an alien in whose country of residence IVs are routinely processed should not normally be accepted for processing by a post in a third country."

We had an appointment back in November after begging and now we are still waiting for the processing. Considering sending my case to Almaty since they are processing there

What visa did you guys apply for? Begging? You mean you literally talked them into giving you an interview?

I overexagerated I didn't beg I just sent them an email telling them how we've been waiting for over a year and a half since our case was sent to the embassy. We applied for a k1 fiance visa

Well, fiancé visas were still being processed as they were not banned unlike IR-5. Does anyone know if IR-5 visas are being processed at the US Consulate in Tashkent?

They aren't processing fiance visas at all. The visa statistics say they haven't issued any in a few months now. They have not issued ir5 either which means they aren't processing that either
