Registering child in Pakistan born To US Citizen

Timeline

We are expecting our first baby in may

My wife is US citizen and we have palanned childbirth in Pakistan

 

I was wondering what is the procedure for regisyering a baby born to. US citizen in pakistan islambad.

 

 

 

We filed our I 130 petetion in dec 2020 and curreny status is showing up in active review

Timeline

Google CRBA Pakistan.

 

You will need to file a CRBA for the child and apply for a US passport.  You will need proof that the US parent lived in the US for at least 5 years (2 years after age 14) before the child's birth.

Do i need an appointment or how will it work

And what are the usual processing times

Costs if you have any idea
