I might have an answer for this. I also sent my AOS package with Priority Mail 2 days on January 30th with expected delivery on Feb  2nd. On the 3rd it said it was out for delivery and on Feb 4th it says it was awaiting delivery scan, with no updates since then. I sent an inquiry through their website, and a couple days later I got an email from a USPS  representative apologizing and then saying this:

Our records show the Priority Mail Item #xxxxxxxxxxxxxx  was last scanned Arrival at Unit (60680) February 2, 2020.

We contacted the delivery unit and was informed the item was picked up. Immigration has a courier/messenger service that comes to our facility to pick up there mail and deliver to them. Mail is picked up Sunday evening and twice a day Monday-Friday. There is no delivery scan because the firm sheet the item was listed on was not scanned for the close of the business day. If the firm sheet is not scanned none of the item listed on it will show a delivery. Also, it could take up to 15-30 days for USCIS to send a notification of receipt.

So I guess I wont ever get that USPS confirmation and I just have to wait for the direct confirmaton of USCIS, which according to what I've been reading, its taking longer than the usual 2 weeks it used to be, since its been 3 weeks and still nothing from USCIS.

The thing I think you should be worried more about is the medical. If they don't receive it within 60 days from the medical you may be out 600 dollars. Hopefully USCIS honors it even if they receive it much later than that since you have a post mark on the package. I highly doubt that it's lost. So many people are in the same boat right now immigration and otherwise. I have a coworker that has gotten christmas cards post dated 17 DEC and barely got them in their mailboxes LAST WEEK.

Also don't fret too much with I-94.. If the sponsoring spouse is a US Citizen then the overstay is automatically forgiven assuming the green card is approved.

I'm betting that a lot of people are in the same boat right now but think of it this way; you did your part. You submitted it before the I-94 expired so the post date will reflect that.

We are checking the credit card balance to see if there is money charge but nothing yet. I'vebeen replying to this thread and yours, I feel with little more hope but still, very concern I've also went to bed thinking the next day I will receive a message saying it arrived.

@alv&josh It's understandable to be worried. I feel even more anxiety when I see some people that have been waiting for packages since December. It's unfortunate but delayed mail is something that has always happened. I would take comfort in the fact that most of the time that doesn't happen. But unfortunately all you can do is take a wait & see outlook. You don't want to waste all the time and effort to put together and send a package only for it to arrive the same day. Compared to a lot of people right now, we haven't been waiting all that long.

Yes that is true. plus not being alone in this bring a little of comfort to know that is not just your package too, it is a nationwide problem. it is just all the effort to put everything together, it took us a full month a half to ahve every paperwork ready, and to be send as soon as possible but the shipping is out of our control. it is just so frustrating that my packages from ASOS (clothes) as an example are arriving sooner through fedex than a express mail.

I know! tshirts from UKarriving before important documents it is just frustrating. I have EVERYTHING in my cloud, luckily, the only thing I will need to get again which cost money is the 8 passport pictures which seems like nothing but that is about 100 usd. + marriae certificates + medical examination. the rest I have the originals. My husband is helping me to get through it, otherwise I would be bald by now. Do you have copies of everything?

I do! I'm very fortunate as well to have done that. We will just need to resign everything and write N/A all over again in the N/A spots. It's a chore but it's doable lol.

Yeah, we'd have to spend another 40 bucks on the four passport photos from Walgreens. I can't help but feel a little ripped off. His passport photos last time were useable but they kinda...idk.. I wasn't the happiest with them. I reordered our marriage certifcates last week just in case. Hopefully we won't have to use one for a new pacakge... And we can go reprint our medical stuff for another 25 dollars before they expire 23 MAR. But it still would be a pain.

AOS Package sent 01/30/2021.

Chicago lockbox received it 02/02/2021

I haven't received delivery confirmation from either USPS or USCIS but the check was cashed today! So I guess sometime this week I'll get my USCIS receipt confirmation.
