Joining this March group even though ours began 2-17-21. What a mess, my wifes green card was dated 3 months too early and that’s a fact based on her I-485 approval so we go and have a appointment the end of February and they tell us well we just have to file based on our notice to file which is wrong they never even acknowledged their mistake but we are mailing today. We got my wife’s passport stamped and we are still waiting on her greencard to be sent back to us as we had to surrender it when we filed the I-90. Well here comes the long wait!

Oh and since we didn’t make a payment for a new greencard (their mistake) we are still waiting on it to be sent back to us, I have a gut feeling we will not get her two year greencard sent back because we didn’t pay for a new one (their mistake with the dates on front) we are still waiting and the I-90 last update says we should have a resolution in 3 months and next step is BIO metrics appointment.

Yeah so I don’t forget our interview on the greencard being wrong was 2/25/21, they never acknowledged their mistake during the interview and told us to file based on our I-751 notice that began on 2/17/21.

Our I-751 binder is small with relevant info and a hand full of pics (5 total) I didn’t include any affidavit from family or friends.

Our package is being collected today by USPS, 2-day priority shipping so it should get there on Wednesday (I think). Our window opened in February but we wanted to make sure that we had everything together.

When we were interviewed for AOS, the officer said that our ROC should be much easier (and our AOS felt pretty easy), so fingers crossed he is right about that. 😂

ROC Timeline:

Date format is MM/DD/YY

05/16/19 - Green Card Issue Date

03/10/21 - Sent ROC paperwork to Phoenix, AZ | USPS 2-Day Shipping

04/07/21 - NOA1 Text Messages Received

My window opened a couple days ago but I'll be sending it later this week, just to make sure they don't mistakenly reject it for being "too early". My checklist is:

-        Payment in the amount of $680.00

-        Form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance

-        Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence

-        Copy of my permanent resident card

-        Copy of marriage certificate

-        Copy of our Pennsylvania driver's licenses

-        IRS tax return transcripts from 2020 and 2019

-        Bank statements from 2019 to the present, showing both my name and my husband’s

-        Copy of our vehicle title, showing both my name and my husband’s

-        Copy of our car insurance ID cards, showing both my name and my husband’s

-        Copy of our renter’s insurance ID card, showing both my name and my husband’s

-        Copy of our current lease, showing both my name and my husband’s

-        Copy of our previous lease, showing both my name and my husband’s, from when we lived in Phoenix, Arizona

-        Copy of our American Airlines reservation for our Hawaii honeymoon trip in March 2020

-        Photos from our Hawaii honeymoon trip

A little worried because everyone else seems to have so much more, but we also had a lot of stuff for our AOS so hopefully this will be enough.

You can only send what you have! Ours is a similar sort of list; most of our evidence is from the last year/2020, and considering covid...most of it is bank statements and insurance renewals

And it's sent off! Now I can relax once again for another year, until the time for N-400 comes 😂 also I wouldn't be surprised if starting next month, ROC filing becomes electronic...happened with my husband's N-400 and his parents' I-130s, literally a couple weeks after sending off the physical applications, they became available for e-filing 🤦‍♀️
