I'm assuming they will interview in India as in the first sentence they stated that "the K-1 visa petition was sent to India."

Here is the letter that you will receive from Mumbai Embassy. Read it over carefully and follow the instructions. Another member of VJ added some additional information contained below which outlines what he experienced.

https://photos.state.gov/libraries/mumbai/1057584/senkx/BMB%20IV%20Packet%204%20for%20Ks%20January%202015%20Revision_001.pdf

Once you received your case number from NVC,  I would recommend you fill out the DS-160 form and submit. Some say the packet 3 letter is nothing just a waste of time the same thing they have mention which you easily get from the USCIS website when you called the clinics to book your medical appointment date they will ask you have you received your packet letter or not. Just say yes and booked the appointment date however you will receive that letter within 2 weeks the day you will get your NVC number.

Go on the USCIS website make your account with a password and then pay your fees to Citibank or Axis bank. They will give you a reference number. With that number, you can book your biometric and interview appointment date. The fees are 18,500 and for medical but I recommend that you carry 20,000 with you in the event you need more. Be sure to keep at least 7 days gap between medical and interview.

The website address for Hyderabad is

Here is a topic in another forum where those from the Mumbai Consulate are applying with good information.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you, I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

I thought you were the only one who misreads posts.  :)

P.S.  Please note use of punctuation above.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Among required documents your fiancee will need to bring screenshots of your messages from WhatsApp and Facebook, calls, pictures together, any checks or bills buying together something, flight tickets, anything to prove your relationship and I was told to take documents to show my last 5 years work places, but these I mentioned maybe they won't ask to show but you need to have them on interview.
