Time to visa after approved interview?

Does anybody know how long does it take to get to your visa after the interview?  My wife went this past Monday (7 Dec ) for her CR1 interview at the U.S. Embassy in Manila and the CO recommended approval (she got the 2 white papers!  Hahahaha).

First, congrats.

Second,Assuming everything went smooth and everything back to normal...she can pick up her visa in 2-3 days.(that is if she chose pick up from autorized courier)

Congratulations, people often think that if you get approval at the interview it is a given that the visa will be issued.  There is still administrative processing  to be done right up to the CEAC showing ISSUED.  One of the problems with USEM is that the initial document screening that you do before the interview lets too many mistakes go forward and they are not caught until after the interview.  It does appear that things are improving so you are probably getting a visa for Christmas.

I think it will be delivered by Dec 18. They state 7-10 days once approved. Sometimes, it will arrive earlier if she's in Metro Manila (4-5 days).

Yes...the status flipped in CEAC from "REFUSED" TO "READY" on 16 Dec (Philippine time)...I just checked, its still sitting on Ready status.  I hope it flips to ISSUED soon.

My kids just had the interview and the consul stated that he is recommending approval. We did not receive 2 white papers as you said. What are those?
