Hi everyone,

hope all are well. as we have been received our NOa 1 on july 3rd and currently still waiting for NOA2 result.

It has been over 115days and knowing still would take a little while since the processing time is slow due to the Covid-19.

Wondering if there is things or documents that we could started preparing while waiting for the NOA 2??

Feel like if there is something we could prepare ahead of time would ease the anxious of waiting.

THank you all !!

Hello,

Unfortunately it’s just a waiting game my friend so my best piece of advice to you would be in order to prepare for the interview process used to go to the embassy website in order to gather any further necessary information that may be needed during the interview process.

Because of Covid most of the paperwork is back logged from NOA 1 to the NOA 2 notification. Currently the average processing time appears to be 221 days. Unfortunately because of the situation that we are dealing with it it’s just a waiting game. Wishing you all the best during this process and be patient the end results are worth the wait!

Hi there,

I'm also, like you and many others, waiting for NOA2.

I guess you could start preparing...why not?
I decided I might just start collecting things so that I don't rush later / get the majority of it collected.

Wait time are longer than they were pre coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic time. There isn't much you can do now. The only thing that you can do now is complete your police certificate. The USC petitioner does not require a PCC. When they supplied the I-129f, their information is run through different Federal and Local repositories for security checks. The beneficiary is the only one required to do complete PCC if they meet living in another country, from their home country, since the age of sixteen for 6 months or more. Find the country that you need the PCC from here:

I would suggest you do a quick google search on Taiwanese K1 visa experiences.

I'm still waiting for my NOA2, it's been like... 230 days??

Get your birth certificate ready, translate anything that needs to be translated... gather more evidence of relationship for your interview (whenever that will be...)
