Hey folks I'm very surprised because I just got in my mail my wife's I-485 approval. It says my wife will be getting her Permanent Resident Card in 3 weeks or so.

I filed on 4/24/07, but got an RFE on 5/10/07 because I forgot to include my W-2's and Income Taxes. On June 5 I my case got transfered to CSC and now I just got the approval with a date of 6/21/07.

Wierd thing is that my wife hasn't even gotten her EAD yet!

Can someone guide me as to what happens next?? I thought we were supposed to get interviewed and that this would be a LONG waiting game. Did I just get lucky with this quick approval???

Congratulations! Most cases that get transferred to CSC get approved without an interview. Now that your wife is a permanent resident she doesn't need her EAD anymore.

If you would have known it would get approved so fast, you wouldn't have had to apply for the EAD.

Oct 13 - 1st NOA received and additional letters for my daughters I filed with. NOAs stated Resident Status

has been extended for 1 year and that we will be receiving a letter for an ASC appointment for

fingerprints, photo, and signature.

Dec 2009 - Received 10 year permanent resident card.

Feb 2010 - My children received their 10 year permanent resident cards.

Oct 2010 - My children were legally adopted by my USA Citizen husband.
