.....

Now at that point in time,my man was stressed and overwhelmed by being away from me.The divorce didn't move on and he had a huge amount of stress with the Company he worked for.............in other words-we had problems already and he no longer knew whether he wanted to stay with me since there was (and still is) no telling how much longer the divorce would take and then the 6+ months for the visa process..............

I had booked a flight for April 18th to spend a week with him after being seperated for more than 6 months, his "friends" talked him into not quitting his job (and starting at the new company he works for now) in May.......So I had to cancel my flight and lost 700$ .(Him being a Trucker,he wouldn't have been home that week I would have been there.......)

Nat, I'm sorry to say, but I don't think the friends can be blamed for this. Your man is a grown man and obviously he made these choices of his own volition, so I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss them as 'someone else's fault'.

I wish you both the best of luck!

Thanks to all of you!

No that female friend is married to Jim's (former) best friend and has no intensions of doing anything (sexually) with my man.To her he's a low life...........But that would be a whole other story.

Yeah Jim and I have worked things out and as I said with everything that happened in the passed 3 months he now finally see's the truth. It took him a while, which I think is normal considering that those ppl were his BEST FRIENDS and what they did to s is just unbelievable.I couldn't belive it myself at first but unfortunatley things are the way they are and they have seriously tried to break us up for good....

Jim's divorce is being done in VA now.His soon to be ex lives there and she took a lawyer,so it should be done soon.nd I will fly to the US and go on the road with him as soon as the divorce is done.We will also FINALLY put our i 129 in then.

Again thanks to all of you

Nat

Good luck to you!

These friends are #######. I wouldn't even talk to friends like that any more - life's too short to waste it on people who aren't worth it.

When we announced our wedding, the only people in the "friend" bunch who weren't supportive but openly obnoxious about how it is a mistake, too fast too soon and so on were the people who actually also went through K1 process...

They are now separated so maybe they were trying to warn us not make the same "mistake" but I was still quite mad that they couldn't keep their mouth shut or give us the benefit of the doubt....

Glad you guys managed to work it out

To Lisa: He sure is a grown man and I'm not saying ALL of it can be blamed on his "friends" but the situaion he (we) was in and them feeding him such bs as I only want a Green Card has added stress and heartbreak and then to top it all they hide Court Papers?! Now that right there DEFINITLEY was there fault.James could be divorced by now and we could have put our I 129 in already.........

He's an OTR Truck Driver and hardly ever home so they get his mail.He does not have a lap top and most Truck Stops don't have Internet Acces so there was no way for him to constantly check the Court Website.Yeah granted he could have called but ask someone else who works for Schneider National what that Company is like, how the drivers are being treated and the dispaterchers handle the loads-then you'll know what an amount of stress he had to put up with.

And once you sign up with Schneider and go to their CDL school you have to sign up for a year or pay back the 4000$ in Training...........

With the stress level being that high he made the right decision and left that Company before the year was up and even though we may now have to pay them 4000$,it's well worth it because my man is doing much better, has a newer and much safer Truck and makes 30% more money.

(So that explains why he thought several times about leaving that Company when I was supposed to fly over in April, plus with Schneider he couldn't have took me on the road with him and out of that week I would have been there he was home for about 10 hours......)

I hope everything works out for the two of you. It's sad that people are evil and do negative things but that's reality. When people reep negative things, negative things happen in return to them. I would go forward with all positive things and attitudes and everything will be fine.

Good Luck!!!!!!
