Our is IR1 Visa. They said we will send you another interview email in a week or so. My wife submitted medical, and all other info.

Can you please share more details on what happened? Did you not go for the interview? Did you go to the interview and still got refused. Please share more details and explain exactly what happened in your case so we can try to help you.

So they didn't ask her any questions at all? usually an Indian officer collects documents before an American officer conducts the interview. Did the Indian officer collect her documents? Did the American officer tell her we will send another interview letter? Did they give her a reason for returning her and rescheduling the interview? Was she given any paper at the interview?

1. Can you please update your timeline? Currently it says your I-130 was approved in 2010.

2. Why did you have a walk-in interview? Were you going to renew a spousal visa that expired due to inability to travel due to coronavirus restrictions?

How does one get notified for the IR1/CR1 Interview at the Mumbai Consulate ?  IS this an email / Postal mail to the Applicant (US Citizen) and the Immigrant ?  I am bit worried because of the last email for NVC Approval from National_Visa_Center@state.gov went to my spam email.  Please let me know if both Applicant (US Citizen) and the Immigrant will get an email or a Physical mail in the post?

When I contacted NVC a few months back they said if your case is electronic you will receive an email, so for most of us it should be via email.  Make sure your email address is updated properly online so you don't miss it.
