Medical for green card interview

Hi everyone,

We received our letter for the green card interview and it shows that i have to do medical exam again.

I came as a K1 and i did medical in my country that was submitted to embassy. Do i have to still do this medical here in the US?

If it was done within a year of your application, and was marked "complete" you won't need a new one.

Hi, i did the medical again. The interviewer told me that it is good i did it because sometimes when you don't do and at the interview they decide that you have to do the medical then it end up making your case longer.

thank you very much! My laywer also said me to keep it prepared, because the law from 2018 is requiared max 3 years, I did it in 2017, so no way, I did it today, it is not covered by insurance and doctor charged us $1130 for me and my daughter

yes it is not covered by insurance. You spent a lot,i paid $339 but i didn't have to do the vaccin because i had it completed in my country.
