Sent to Albany field office- why? (split)

I have I question my spouse called tier2 we found our case was sent to the album field office or Albany service centre and also tier 2 says we will contact back by 12 sep why they sent our case to the field office where we filled 11 months ago on 24 Oct 2019 and service centre was taxes

Applications are sent to specific "Lockboxes" depending on the application and the location.  Beyond that, it is up to USCIS to determine workload balance and send it to a service center or field office for processing.

 

Btw, this is a separate question from what the OP was asking, so I asked a moderator/organizer to break this out into its own thread.

further information tier 2 says am submitting a service request for u ur case is outside of normal processing time we will contact by 12 September

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
