Hi everyone,

 

I haven't posted in this thread so far, but I thought that it would if it helps everyone to keep track of how things are moving!

AOS via marriage to a USC (from a F-1 visa)

I live in Brooklyn, and my ASC was Brooklyn but my FO is Manhattan.

 

Timeline:

09/25/20: AOS package (I-130/I-485/I-765/I-944) mailed out via USPS.

10/24/20: Received NOA1 in the mail. PD is 09/28/20.

01/05/21: Biometrics appointment completed (Brooklyn ASC). Case updated to show fingerprints were taken (I-486 & I-765).

01/05/21: I-131 mailed via UPS.

01/17/21: Received "IOE" receipt number for I-131 via text.

01/25/21: Received a biometrics reuse notice for I-131.

02/02/21: I-485 Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

02/04/21: Received I-963 deficiency notice in the mail.

02/09/21: Advance Parole document was produced.

02/16/21: AP in hand.

02/26/21: New Card Is Being Produced (EAD).

 

Now onto the long wait for the interview! Because my F-1 is active and my husband and I will have been married for 2 years by this November, I'm okay if I don't have an interview before December this year.

I just checked my I-485 via live chat rep. She said that it hasn't been sent to my local office as of yet. 

She also confirmed that I will be getting a combo card. Hopefully, she's right

Congrats! Your timeline is quite fast. I'm also from Brooklyn but adjusting from B2. I also hope I'll get my interview after our 2nd year anniversary so I won't have to do ROC anymore. Lol

Thank you! And I know, right? That's like, the ONE good thing about being assigned to an office with so many cases like NYC 😂

OMG. Are you serious?? Not yet. I don't even have an I-693 yet. I kind of thought it won't happen till like next year.

Anyone in this group who can recommend doctors for I-693? Brooklyn/ Manhattan area possibly

Hey I’m august 31 2020 Manhattan waiting for interview since January 8. Any news from your side? I’m trying to find people from the Bronx and Manhattan but no luck.

Can you share timeline. I know July 13 got scheduled April 14 and August 2020 got scheduled over the phone yesterday for today and got approved.

Priority date: January 31st, 2020

April 28th, 2021: interview was scheduled I believe at the New York City office

She don’t understand. She thinks because of the office is in Manhattan she belongs to Manhattan but are different field office in the building. Where do you live ?
