Hey guys! My Fiance wants to come visit me from Canada on October 23rd. We got a round trip ticket from October 23rd - March 27th, around 5 months. She has a letter from her employer saying she's on vacation and will return to work on March 29th. She is also going to bring a screenshot of her bank balance so there's proof she can support herself while visiting. What are the chances she will be denied entry by the border agents? Is there anything else she can do to help her case? She doesn't have a home mortgage or any vehicle loans or anything like that.

You got good advice on this at your last post. Personally I would have a paper balance from her bank not a screenshot. What job allows 5 month vacation? (Sounds like one that you aren’t really “tied” to IMO) It is ultimately up to the CO- you can’t create what you don’t have.

Yep we changed to a round trip after the last post! 😊 We'll get an actual paper copy from the bank. She works retail at a drugstore. Today she had her 9 year anniversary of working there and they all like her a lot. Is there anything else she can provide as ties to Canada? We just want to make sure we do everything we can to increase her chances of getting through the border agents.

It is very positive that you guys went with a round trip ticket... that seemed the most important in your last post. Hopefully others will chime in but I can’t see anything else she could present if needed. It does help that Canada is low fraud and hopefully she will receive her interview notice prior to March.

I did exactly what your fianceé is planning to do (I'm from England). I booked a return flight and came to visit (with my dog) for 6 months. I brought with me a letter from my HR team at work, confirming my sabbatical and that I would be returning to my role on xxxx - and I brought a paper copy of my bank account, to prove I could support myself for 6 months. I had no problems entering. Only difference was that I wasn't in a relationship at that time (which does change things slightly and perhaps gives more reason to not return).

Sounds like you have it pretty well covered now.
