Questions regarding reapplying for n400 naturalization

Hi, So my n400 application was recently denied due to insufficient physical presence requirement, i got my denial notice on 13-Aug-2020, now i'm planning to reapply as i'm well over the required physical presence limit. My questions were

1) Should I wait for the 30 day "appeal period" to end and wait for the case to officially close before reapplying or can i go ahead and reapply this week?

2) Do i have to mention about my previously denied case somewhere or is it something they'll just bring up at my next interview? because i don't see any questions on the n400 application regarding previous denials.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thankyou

1) no as long you meet the physical presence requirement
