no

ok I think I've solved the issue

I was able to speak to someone in the embassy, and I basically forced them to fix it for me, don't ask how.. unconventional means.

they told me to resend it, I will have my wife go to the American Express Delivery service (parcel service) and have her deliver it to the embassy.

they said she is good to go as long as they 'accept' the nikkanama.. it also sounded like they would after I basically lambasted them .

I'll keep you all posted, we're trending in the right direction again.. we'll see.

I know you might get annoyed by so many questions but can you share the nikkahnama picture that she took with her with your details cut off. It will be a huge help to all of us who are waiting to make sure we don't take the wrong one.

Apart from that very glad to hear that its getting resolved, Good luck!!

Yup thats what I have as well and thats what I have heard everywhere, 3 types of nikkah nama.

So your wife took these three and they said they need a different version of the urdu nikkah nama? weird.

Do we have to attest the original english translated copy? Or we attest the photocopy of english translation? Also what does the attestation look like? Is stamp from the qari/molvi who performed nikkah enough?
