Email sent at 6:30am EST today.

I should receive the notice via mail next week.

Can someone enlighten me on the journey ahead?

How long does it take for VSC to send it to NVC?

How long does NVC take to process the paperwork?

Any perspective is much appreciated.

Thank you all for the support. This group has been instrumental in maintaining my sanity!!!

Hi everyone! I tried to stay away from the internet today but i miss ya'll  .

Well still nothing on my end, Mel called them yesterday and they were trying to feed him that you have to wait BS. This time he got mad and then the lady transfered him to a supervisor who told him that our case is still with the adjudicator. Mel asked him how long would it take that person to approve it and he said that we should receive something in the mail by friday or latest monday next week. One more week again????? :o Man, im so tired of all this BS im telling you. I have been patient enough im loosing my mind over this journey.:wacko::wacko:

Mel is coming coming to see me on friday this week, i sware i will be calling the VSC all day until the can't hear my voice anymore. I think after all this wait i have the freaking right to get on their butts. :ranting::angry::angry::angry:

Mirla, don't worry about the RFE i didn't right anything on the envelope. I just wrote a cover letter and stated what's in the package. Stay calm, we will get there (F)

Byron, Soch and everyone else THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT! May God keep on blessing you guys!!

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

I'm freaking out now! I never thought about writing RFE on the envelope!!!!! I'm calling Pat cause he was supposed to resend our RFE this morning but he's at work and his cell phone is out of signal!!!! I don't know if he already sent it or will send it during the morning!!!!!! I can't get in touch with him and I have to leave my house very soon!!!!! Damn!!!!!!

I haven´t heard of such a thing either...it´s weird...it shouldn´t be a reason for the envelope to get lost...you´d think they open it and see what´s inside...

Many prayers and flowers for you and also Mel and Syl who have been waiting like for ever (F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F) Would send more but the system doesn´t let me :P

My SO took me cross country skiing this past weekend. I had never been and he's a really good skiier and teacher, so it was great. One thing he taught me, which I think works as a wonderful analogy to what's going on with a lot of us here and echoes what Amrssnoangel said:

"Look at where you want to go, don't look down at your feet. If you look at where you want to go, you'll get there."

Byron did you write a big red RFE on it or did you have a special envelope or anything?

I knew I had seen it somewhere. Here is the reference to the special RFE envelope.

"If the packet is being resubmitted in response to a REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE, please place the notice requesting the additional evidence/information on the top of the packet. Also, please use the special mailing envelope provided."

It comes from the VJ General Tips On Assembling Applications For Mailing.

However, in looking for this I saw one post that referenced these tips and said that there was no envelope.

If anyone wants to do some reading on RFE's there is a link to a decent RFE thread in my signature. Go to the thread and then search for envelope (in the lower left hand corner search box) and you will find some posts on how to respond to a RFE.

Hi all. Is is possible to restart this thread and post a link to the new thread here (in a post). I will then lock this thread and the topic can continue there. The reason is mainly that as topics get very large they can start to put extra load on the server that may slow things down sometimes.

Someone please PM me once the new topic has been started! I will then close this one :).

Thanks!
