December 16 is only a little over two weeks from now and we are concerned that our response might have been misplaced in the mail or otherwise lost by the Vermont Service Center, perhaps simply lost in VSC's own mail room.

Scott lives in Toronto and has a much easier time waiting for the petition b/c he doesn't follow VJ at all. That's okay; I'm the obsessive / planner type.

The NOA2 that people keep thinking is August is actually a July file. It keeps people like him from being screwed by having to wait a month for NOA1.

NOA1 and Received date are too different things, and you are supposed to be put in line based on received date. I think that's only fair. He may be a little later in July than some, but it's still a July file.

It's just, emotionally, when we click on the timeline and see the August date, it's a bit jarring!

And what amazes me is they sent their petition only 2 days before I did at the end of July. VSC is now processing petitions from the end of July? What happened to the rest of June?

Don't get me wrong dawnlake. I am happy for you!

As I see it now, I may get my approval tomorrow or I may get it at the end of January or anywhere in between.

I am not sure the date yet? I just spoke to NVC and they gave me NWD number and told me that it take few days to forward it embassy.
