Hi everyone...yes they were working on Thanksgiving as my RFE reply was signed for by P Novak at 11 am on Thanksgiving......sooo....now the waiting game begins again....hoping for a NOA2 soon...however I know others are still waiting from RFEs for their NOA2...good luck everyone.....~Melinda

Delivery companies worked on Thanksgiving? Usually we pay premium money for delivery on holidays and saturdays...otherwise they wait till next business day. Maybe its a system generated email or sth.

somebody would still have to physically sign for the package, even if it is just a stamp with Novaks name, so someone was in the building. Probably a contractor getting 2x pay ;)

Really? What scares me is that the letter said our RFE should be back on dec 16th......and we're getting closer and closer to that date!!! :wacko:

How was this sent? Through the US Postal service?? There should be an 800 customer service number Pat can call. They should be able to look up the shipment without the tracking number. I've done that before. Had the wrong tracking number and they were able to locate it with my personal information....worth a shot. Also, If anyone sends anything again...use return receipt requested... ALWAYS get a copy of that signature. My cousins both are postmasters...if it was sent US Postal I can call them to find out what to do

Nope...because I sent it next day...not thinking it would even be attempted on Thanksgiving...and checked the online site and it was delivered on Thursday and signed for by P. Novak....

WAit...Mirla...this is not info I am getting from USCIS...from the delivery company....is indicating it was delivered...the USCIS website still says they sent me an RFE on 11-15......hope u hear something soon

It looks like there were no approvals issued for Friday in VSC but I do see one new one for Wednesday.

Congratulations to Joy-Ann & Donald (donone). Sent June 24. NOA2 June 26. NOA2 November 21.

That gives us 54 for the month with a week to go. :)

Hi Guys, I have tried very very hard to be patient...then I tried very very hard to do something to feel that I could move this along...ie write letters, call people, send hershey kisses, certify letters, faxes, emails.........and not to upset Oscar with my feelings of anxiety and sadness but in 1 week it will be 6 months since they recieved our petition and we have never recieved a touch or nothing......and when I called USCIS they told me the after 180 days I have to wait 30 days until I can file a formal request for service.......This is killing me now that they are into July for some approvals.....I would rather they at least send me an RFE(not that I want one but at least to know something) then look at that screen every day and see the same last date as June 5, 2007.....augh.....Just having a moment........Lora

I know exactly how you feel. i get a little more edgy every day I get closer to 180 days. Pete's asked me to call and make sure they haven't simply lost our paperwork. I haven't called them at all thus far, simply because I know it won't do me any good, but... I think I'll call Monday.

You really shouldn't have to file formal request for service. I paid for it within six months- it should happen! ... it might be rude of me to say so, but I don't really care for their excuses (reasons whatever :P ). :unsure:

We'd thought we were going to have a late winter wedding, back when VSC was going strong, and now we're thinking maybe October.

December 2005- Meet face to face. Mark 12/20 official start date.

June 9, 2007 - NOA1 from VSC

February 20, 2008 - APPROVED!!!

February 21, 2008 - paperwork forwarded to NVC.

February 27, 2008 - paperwork sent to Consulate.

March 6, 2008 - Packet 3 recieved.

March 19, 2008 - Packet 3 returned. (minus checklist!)

April 21, 2008 - Returned checklist. All Packet 3 in London.

May 7, 2008 - Medical.

May 30, 2008 - Interview. APPROVED.

July 27, 2008 - Arrives in US.

Today was suppose to be our wedding day......but we might as well be on 2 seperate planets...He is in Peru and I am in Virginia....and the back up date of January 1 is not going to happen either.....I am begining to think the petitions from the first part of June are sitting on someone desk who has not showed to work for the last month....on leave, vacation or got lost going to work and there is no recourse until 210 days after filing....that sucks......
