I try to be strong day after day but im loosing it. Byron's approval just knocked me out, BYRON DONT GET ME WRONG im absolutly happy for you.

It's just that i have the feeling that some must be wrong with my case. I've sent back the RFE on Oct. 1st and still no approval, oh God please let them give me my approval or at least give me some info about my case. Im so sorry VJ-family, i didnt mean to f*** up the groove up in here but i needed to get this of my cheast.

That's OK Syl. Its understandable that you are feeling this way. I think out of all the active members on this thread you have been waiting the longest and it is hard to see others get approved who have filed after you.

I know you said Mel had called VSC and they said to wait the 30-60 or whatever days but have you tried getting a congressperson invloved? Maybe it will light a fire under their asses and get you some sort of information. It can't hurt.

You will get through this...we are all praying for you.

I agreee with Zee, Syl. I think its time to call in some muscle and see if you can't give them a kick up the ####### over your petition! Can't hurt! Try to keep the faith - I know its much easier said than done. Just know that your approval will come! Sadly in its own sweet time, but it will come!!

Mirla or anybody else...your point is the thing that has me confused....It says that the approval was sent the 15th which was yesterday ( sent to the lawyer i would think)

So does today's touch mean sent to NVC or actually sent to the lawyer today eventhough they say it was sent yesterday??

Well, they either sent it yesterday afternoon or this morning.....Plus VT is 3 hours away from NY so I'm sure you will get it on monday! They sent out my RFE either thursday afternoon or friday morning and Pat got it monday! So go bust your lawyer's....well, she's a lady....well, you know what I'm talking about!!!! :lol:

When I got approved I got the email, then a touch after approval and then NVC (you can check out my complete timeline).

I think your case is on its way to NVC

Damn! I just called VSC and said that my RFE was sent on friday and that I still haven't got any email notification and she said it's probably cause it's on the mail room and I asked how long does it take to get out of there and she said a couple of weeks....I didn't ask if it's only a couple of weeks to get out of the room and start checking again or a couple of weeks to get out of there and stay in a desk..... WaCkO WaCkO!!! hehehe.

To try answer your q, i got NOA2 on the 9th, and then after the case was touched on the 11th, 12th and 13th so some of the touches could be them just moving the case from 1 pile to the next.

Thanks guys! Mel calls almost every day and they are telling him the same BS, he said he will call today again. We can not do the congressman thing right now cuz Mel is on a job in Italy and i dont know how he could do something from there. I'll take your advise and try to calm down, crying all night wont help the situation anyways.

Yup.....this part of your journey should be sooooooooooooooooooo much faster. Lets just hope they don't stall in sending your approved petition to NVC like CSC has

Hey...thats what we are all here for....we are VJ FAMILY. We share each others joys AND sorrows. He hold each other up, celebrate and feel each others pains. I know words cant make you feel any better right now...Only God can do that (and your noa2 ). Keep your eyes on God. He WILL see you through. He never promised every day would be roses...He only promised to be there with us to see us through and give us the strength and courage to continue. We are here... You can knock out my groove anyday. I wont say hang in there either...as it was with Byron..you HAVE been hanging in there. Im sure your case will be ok. Something is just taking a bit longer to clear. Once that is done you will be well on your way to a lifetime of happiness. I know its hard to focus on much else OTHER than this...but try to. Sometimes stepping back helps. Do something for yourself. Treat yourself. Pamper your SO with a care package...anything to get your mind off this for a bit. Just take care of you...and remember...we all care about you....we are here for you..praying for you...and if EVER you need to talk...PM me...

I don't know about you guys, but I think Byron needs to learn how to express his emotions more. If he continues to keep his feelings bottled up inside it is going to cause problems some day.

Im flying down the 7th of Dec!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for sleep, i was dead yesterday ....i couldnt help it anymore at around 2:30 i crashed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mel and Syl....take this into consideration...its one of the hings that kept me going....They are not looking to deny you..their job is to approve you...they just have to thoroughly look through the cases to keep their reputation of being efficient..

Remember that not only did i get the RFE, but the first time i sent my petition out , my lawyer had given me the wrong amount for the check so i had to start all over!!!!!!!!!!!! Between that and the RGE I easily lost between one and two months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
