Hey on the USCIS homepage, righthand column there is an update on processing delays.

It says those who filed after june 1 will have a longer wait. I wonder if they mean longer than we have already waited or if they are just getting around to letting us know there processing times have slowed down?

The fact that some June/July/Beyond filers have been approved...hm it's hard to say. I'd like to think that it's not any more, but yeah.

I am also a Virginian for those that care to know, I live in Norfolk ^_^

Hi everyone......I live about 20 minutes outside of Washington, DC and just got back from my Congressman's office......It actually was interesting.....the liason with the USCIS called the Vermont Center and found out our case is with a case worker since November 1.....they said that because of the length of time they have been taking to process the cases that they are having to do an extra security check on the petitioner(from Noa1 until now) to make sure I have not committed a major crime or something......Also that our age difference......I am older then Oscar makes our case a red flag case for fraud........I know that earlier in the forum someone asked about that and they do consider that......I said the the liason that more older woman are dating younger men now and she said her husband was 10 years younger then her....but he lived down the street from her not in another country were someone has the right to scrutinize the relationship.......So I at least know they have it on someone's desk.....Oh please God say yes.....Lora

OK. Back to business. :D

The petition with the Sep 20 sent date and the Nov 31 NOA2 date was changed to a Oct 31 NOA2 date.

The member still has no posts so we don't know if they were expedited.

I checked that couple's profile that just changed their approval to Oct 31 and this is what it says under their signature area:

"...We just got the amazing news that our petition was approved in only 35 days. We couldnt believe it, but are just so happy and hoping everything else will go quickly as well."

That doesn't seem like it was expedited or anything. It seems to me that they were surprised about the approval. Thoughts?

Here are the new VSC summary stats that reflect approvals dated through November 4th. To compare to the previous report, click here.

The projected number of processing days is based upon the number of open petitions divided by number of petitions approved per day for the various periods. As the approval rate changes, the projected processing time will change also. Perhaps dramatically. Please do not take the projections too seriously. However, projections may be useful in determining if your plans are realistic given the current rate of approvals.

This table lays out very well in my Internet Explorer. If it looks strange in your browser please let me know. Suggestions as to how to make the Summary Stat Report better are welcome.
