I know but I just found this very stupid, if someone is looking at your case wouldn't he/she save his/her time and our time looking of all the thing that might be missing instead of sending the RFE letter, wait for the response, look again and send another letter?????

#######!!! It doesn't make sense right????

And don't worry, you are not getting anothert RFE!!!!! :D

Side note -- is it true that adjudicators are assigned petitions based on the part of the world the beneficiary is from?

no, i dont believe that is true...from what ive heard, when they assign the case numbers, the petition is piled into a box with many other petitions from that same general time period, and then the adjudicators pick the next box in line...thats why the petitions dont get approved perfectly in order, but they are generally pretty close....from what ive heard, this stage of the process has nothing to do with what country the beneficiary is from...thats more of a concern when the interview comes around ;)

Hmmm....interesting. I read in the CSC thread, that someone called CSC to check on status, and this is what one of the adjudicators told them. Maybe that adjudicator was mistaken.

weird...there is a gentlemen on VJ who used to be an adjudicator and he said it was done the way that i had mentioned...his name is Husker Kiev, if you want to look up some of the things he has said about the process, many of them are quite interesting...i suppose it could vary though, from service center to service center, or over time

Hi everyone......I live about 20 minutes outside of Washington, DC and just got back from my Congressman's office......It actually was interesting.....the liason with the USCIS called the Vermont Center and found out our case is with a case worker since November 1.....they said that because of the length of time they have been taking to process the cases that they are having to do an extra security check on the petitioner(from Noa1 until now) to make sure I have not committed a major crime or something......Also that our age difference......I am older then Oscar makes our case a red flag case for fraud........I know that earlier in the forum someone asked about that and they do consider that......I said the the liason that more older woman are dating younger men now and she said her husband was 10 years younger then her....but he lived down the street from her not in another country were someone has the right to scrutinize the relationship.......So I at least know they have it on someone's desk.....Oh please God say yes.....Lora
