I sent an email to the Sydney Consulate regarding our visa application update, as when I logged into the CEAC portal it said that our case was awaiting an interview to be scheduled for us. We have been providing all the information asked of us, and had received updates as early as 2 weeks ago. They asked me to forward them some information to look into it, and I got this.... Our case had NOT been abandoned, I don't understand?  We have been checking for updates daily and we have definately been perusing it...

 

Seems very copy and paste, they seem to be terrible at communication. I wish I could just call them directly!

Did you so what this email to you asked for? Seems you need to do that so your petition gets revalidated.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

3/31/2020: submitted service request for being pass normal processing time
4/7/2020: Card being produced
4/8/2020: Approved
4/10/2020: Card mailed
4/15/2020: 10 year green card received

5/21/2019: Filed Online
5/21/2019: NOA1 Date
6/13/2019: Biometrics Appt
2/27/2020: Citizenship Interview
4/7/2020: In queue for Oath Ceremony to be scheduled
6/19/2020: Notice Oath Ceremony scheduled

Well you need to get revalidated so I would respond ASAP.

This process is not pick and choose but do what they ask, after all they have the gold so they get to make the rules. Simply respond to their request and you'll be that much closer to your visa.
