Okay first part done Thank God.... issued and picked up.  I have realised something with Barbados embassy if u want things done you have to email (politely) them every couple weeks. Cause every change

I am waiting. Had interview march 12 and then the shut down...was approved but all site is saying is administrative processing. Saw it updated july 1 but still administrative processing. It may now be working on it again.

Barbados here.. not at NVC stage as yet tho. But have been researching a lot. The embassy is open but following the president's proclamation at this time. And I from what I read they aren't processing K1 visas.

03/01/2008: Mailed N-400 to NSC :

03/03/2008: N-400 was delivered :

03/12/2008: N-400 was returned :

03/13/2008: Mailed N-400 to NSC Again:

03/17/2008: N-400 was delivered again:

Where did u read that?? Its open only for us citizens but closed for both niv and iv services unless special cases. Coz my case was ready for interview, if they are not doing k1s I would like to get niv.

I read it on the US Embassy Barbados website.

Like most nivs, k1s hv been suspended only mission critical visas like spousal and kids are priority.. its frustrating just emailed them to be sure.. But I read that too will see what happens hoping it's not the case though.
