Never seen a Mockingbird, but got all excited at seeing a Chickadee yesterday. And a Cardinal when I first got here. And then there were the Blue Jays....oh hell, I just love all birds.

I love 'em, too - there's so many impressively exotic (to my Brit eye!) looking ones around, I'm forever getting excited about the birds I see. Even the sparrows - I don't remember the last time I saw a sparrow in the UK ( :( ) and they're everywhere here!

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

We have Sparrows nesting in our roof. Every morning I hear the babies screaming for food and the manic chatter as Mum (or Dad) come by with a fresh juicy worm. Bless 'em.

Aww! I love sparrows, they're cute! C. must think I'm insane, the way I'm always stopping to admire some perfectly normal (to him) bird like it's an exotic species in the zoo!

I enjoy the different types of birds that show up around the house and am trying to learn which is what. I think the mockingbirds are cool in the variety of songs they sing. So far I've only heard them sing (no weird car noises).

A couple of years ago we had a couple of hawks that hung around the backyard. They went away for the winter and we didn't see them for a while. They came back briefly late summer last year with a baby in tow. They are very compelling-looking birds.

i hate those chickenhawk bastards.....wish i lived in the country so i could blast away at them with a shotgun...of course, not to kill them .just to scare them off

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I love to watch the hawks around here. Sometimes we see the big ones. Once in a while you see a small sparrow chasing them in the air doing an ariel "dogfight". That looks so cool. We have a lot of Robins and sometimes the occasional Roadrunner hangs out in our back yard.

10Yr GC arrived 07/02/09 - Naturalization is next

The drama begins - again!

And now the drama ends - they took the Green card . . .
