Btw, this is from last Tues. 23rd. I forgot to post it though. Looks like the the trend will continue sadly :( Apparently the Dirty plans to hold out indefinitely.

MANILA, Philippines — The entire Philippines will remain under quarantine for now as the government's task force on the coronavirus pandemic has removed "new normal" in the list of possible classification of areas.

The government defines "new normal" as "emerging behaviors, situations, and minimum public health standards that will be institutionalized in common or routine practices and remain even after the padenic while the disease is not totally eradicated."

Well, one would think. Except that Dirty, er I mean Duterte is very immature and retaliatory while also liking to take things and crank it up to 1,000,000 and based off of previous experience he would probably just threaten to impose a Perm. ban on USC's altogether or permanently sell the PH off to the chinese as some kind of personal transaction, as if he owns the place lol.

He has "Little Man's Disease" aka Napoleon Complex.  What did the USA do to hurt his little feelings?

He does make a lot of idiotic comments.  True statement about him and the Chineese.

You may be able to get back if you have children in the Philippines.  I have written to the email address to the Philippine Embassy in DC.  Basically they cant make any determination as that will be up to Immigration, but they did ask for my passport copy, plus my sons passport copies and birth certificate.  If the request is ever approved (and there is ALWAYS conflicting information) you would need to quarantine for 14 days or they could make an exemption once a COVID test was done and proven negative, however I would just plan on the 14 day quarantine.  Im in a situation I can no longer wait as I only have an acquaintance watching my son.  It was only supposed to be for 2 months and is now going into month 7.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

Hi. I am from WV also. Im trying to check if i can get my husband here if in case i can be approved for an expedite interview appointment. This whole travelling thing is stressing me out too as even travelling within the country is hard, we have to get all these papers just to go. Add up to the whole problem is i have a kid with me. I am really frustrated with how the government has been dealing with the virus. I am also trying to find answers, searching through every facebook page the government has since they dont give out any complete information. It seems theyll let you go once you get the results. Though, i wonder how much do we need to pay just so they can give us the results. Given this is the philippines,if you have the money everything is fast and easy.
