Come back tomorrow when you get DQ'd.

But I didn't say I would get DQd tomorrow. I said I hope that happens. I also said you are spreading incorrect information about NVC procedures on this board.

I am not.  It is and has been NVCs practice to put people to the back of the review line.  There target is three weeks to turn.  Sometimes they do it in less time, often times it's longer

Turns out my wife already has her PSA birth certificate. She just accidentally scanned the old NSO one.

Hoping for a DQ tomorrow!

That's good, so no need to stand in those long PSA lines outside. Yeah, hopefully it does get turned around quickly. Good luck!

My wifes Birth certificate was issued by the old NSO office. Today NVC rejected the document and said "please provide a document from an accepted authority."

I guess they are saying it has to be a PSA birth certificate? But the NSO certificate was accepted for out I130 petition. I believe the government offices are closed. Perhaps I could put a note that we will bring the PSA certificate to the interview but cannot get it now because of covid19? That explanation was accepted for the police clearance.

PSA replaced NSO years ago.

Never mind .. just saw you later posting.  ;)

My wife was DQ'd this morning. So it is incorrect that if you have to resubmit a document you go to the back of the line. Sometimes it is faster. DQ 40 hours after a resubmitted document.

Hope is not a bad thing. Always hope for the best.

Good news, that's awesome. Shows they are working quickly on cases under review.
