Has someone petitioned for the beneficiary

How do I answer this question ?

My wife is filling out the i130. 
 

My grandpa was a USC and filed for my mom, I believe I was 18 at the time. I’m pretty sure me and my siblings were included some how. 
 

the petition ended up getting approved but my grandpa passed away. 
 

anyways, not sure how to answer that question.

Well of you think he included you answer yes.  Does you mom know?  You would have been listed as a derivative and not the principal beneficiary.

No.  You would have been a derivative beneficiary not named on any petition

my mom still has NOA1 and NOA2. Would the answer be on there ?

LISTED is NOT petitioned for. Subtle but important difference

Just checked the NOA1, NOA2, it only has my moms name on it. Neither my siblings or my dad are mentioned on it.

There's your answer.   If you look at the i130, nowhere do you identify anything closely referred to as derivative beneficiaries.   You list spouses and children of the named beneficiary.    Plain and simple.
