Population number per Doctor, US is not exactly short, certainly compared to India.

UPDATE:

Two physician colleagues were inspected and admitted into the US this morning at 8am, with an H-1B Visa, after a 15hr direct flight from India.

  1. Dept of Veterans Affairs (VA) - Approved and Offer Extended
  2. Department of Labor - Approved
  3. USCIS - Petition Approved, via Premium Processing
  4. Dept of State - Visa Approved and Issued, via Emergency Appointment
  5. Air India Check-In - Allowed to Board, with some initial push back from the Airline Check-In Agent, regarding their H-1B visa and the current restrictions. Embassy was contacted/confirmed their Exemption Status.
  6. CBP in NYC - Approved, via secondary inspection, which was quick & easy

Has been a long time coming, but they made it. Happy for them!

Several others have already made it, and several from England are expected to join very shortly. (There are twenty five or so, in all.)

Profile pic - Rainbow Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.
