EB-5 visa

Can you update us on your experience with the waiting time in each step for EB-5 visas? I'm in the stage of waiting (for 6 months now) after submission of I-526 and get an I-797C receipt from USCIS.
How about the waiting time or the real experience of processing time.

I don’t think a lot of EB5s hang out here.... I do know a family who went that route but it was about five years ago so not sure if timelines have changed since then. It took them around a year from application to visa.

i can answer that for you. I-526 takes anywhere from 29-45 months.  After that it will take another 6- 8 months to get your immigrant visa to enter USA.   i got my I-526 approval after 21 months.

The first part of your answer is in theory and we can find it in the USCIS website. I'm interested in your second part of your real experience... So yours is 21 months but I heard others get it even faster.

 Yeah its as good as throwing a dart and see if it sticks kind - predicting the approval time

You guys may want to consider creating an EB-5 Guide for VJ as it’s currently missing. Additionally, not many EB-5 filers are here on VJ for others seeking answers on the process.
