NVC messages wont load & police report

Hello,

 

I've seen a post about people who have had similar situations and what they tried to load the messages with but nothing is working.

Also, I'm from Ontario Canada and I got what I thought was the correct police report but it shows on my account that it is invalid. As well as birth certificate. I have the old small paper version and not the updated version in Canada. Anyone else have similar problems and can lend some advice?

Push the message button and then wait, it takes a few mins to show.. 

 

check the documents are correct... if possible obtain the new version, if not, be meticulous about how it’s copied and uploaded, they fail documents for the slightest thing..

Lol dunno then sorry... I just know it takes around 5 min for ours to load.. maybe try calling them?

You need the long form of the birth certificate, short form wont work. If you were born in Ontario you need the copy of live birth with all the handwritten info. 

You have the privacy act police certificate that's less than 1 year old?

I’m from ontario. Where do I find the privacy act police certificate? I got my police check from service Canada and apparently it’s not the correct one.

RCMP or commissionaires will be able to do it.  It takes a little bit to get back.  Read the instructions on the NVC website and the threads on this in the Canada forum.  Theres a specific privacy act you need to request but regardless they need your fingerprints. 

As i mentioned for those born in Ontario, you need a copy of the registration of live birth.

Looks like fingerprints can’t be done currently cos of the virus until further notice so I’ll have to wait for that. 
The hospital I was born at doesn’t exist anymore and didn’t give us a live birth so I just ordered a birth registration and updated long birth certificate.

Yes thats the one you need from vital statistics. Sorry if I had the name wrong.

where in Ontario are you some commissionaires are open i just got mine done you need to make an appointment online here is the website
