Has anyone been approved for an expedite lately within last couple weeks? If so, it would be great to hear details! Like how long for the response, the details on moving forward if approved, designated embassy, etc. Thanks!

Hi. We were approved today. It took almost two weeks to receive a response. Now have to wait for interview date. Embassy is Belmopan, Belize.

Yes. I forget exactly how long for a response but definitely <2 weeks for the whole process, and seemed like just a few business days for the consulate to make its decision. The process seems a bit unusual from what I've read in that after being approved I was still told to submit everything through NVC, despite the expedite saying the case was being sent immediately (without conditions). Nevertheless it worked out well it seems like because I got DQ a short time later, the only delays being with fees processing etc that is unavoidable. But submitting and re-submitting docs I was getting feedback within a few hours even outside of business hours, which I see is not the experience of most people.

Hi I just received an email that it is going to embassy for approved expedite. I submitted all my docs to nvc but was not yet DQed. Did you get a second email about your docs? Thanks so much!!!

Eventually yes. Over about a 2-day period I was submitting documents and then getting some of them rejected or being requested for more. I didn't think it was a human doing it because it was at all hours of the day after I would submit something new. You can see my timeline for when my case when complete, and I got the DQ email.

Congratulations! I think I may expedite as well. I submitted all my docs on 4/28. My only concern with the expedite is when they send your case automatically to the embassy, does anyone check/approve your documents before you have your interview? I would be nervous that one of my documents may not be correct and then I get to the interview and they're just like "sorry try again"!

I also feel like the process from the expedite approval to being scheduled for your interview is very unclear?

Did they ask you to submit docs after the expedite email?I submitted and paid before I requested. No mention of the DQ prceds in the expedite email. Thx!

Yes, I contacted the embassy and they basically told me to go through NVC. I think where the "expedite" came in was that I was DQ'd almost immediately after getting my documents submitted correctly.

Note my expedite was approved even before I got an NVC case number.

I wonder if our case is the same. I submitted all docs 2 weeks ago and am still waiting for DQ.

After 2 days, I found out it was approved without conditions. Waiting on the embassy now. Any news on your end?
