Hello all. I'm currently filling out the i-864 and I was wondering about the current individual annual income. I have not filed taxes this year (the date was extended to July 15th and I will probably extend it to October after that). So I have a 2 part question. My first question is, what are the best documents to submit to support this my current income? I was thinking my pay stub (it's in Korean so I would need my wife to translate it I guess) or potentially my contract that has my annual salary documented in English. The second question is: For the 3 most recent federal income tax returns, does this mean I need to include 2018/17/16 because I haven't filed my taxes yet for 2019 and don't plan to until July or October? Any information is appreciated! Thank you!

Will your Korean income continue when you move to the US?

No it will not. I signed a tentative offer with the SBA contingent upon passing a background check and it will begin in September. Until August 31st, I will still be under contract in Korea.

You only need to submit the transcript for the most recent tax year you filed, so due to Covid, that would be 2018 yr.. the other two are optional..

with ref to your employment situation, i recommend you attach a copy of the new contract starting later in the year with a lett of explanation showing your intent of returning to the US to gain domicile and employment etc..assuming of course that you’re currently in Korea

Your Korean income is irrelevant, filing taxes is a separate issue and sounds like you are currently up to date. I assume you need a joint sponsor.
