It was brought to my attention by another member here, that now the IRS is not processing transcript requests by mail currently until further notice. Which is troublesome because for a whole bunch of reasons not everyone can access the transcripts via online option.

What would the Visa Journey community recommend for people who are not able to access the transcripts online method but are in need of their transcripts for immigration purposes?

I thought surely this community is filled with a bunch of resourceful, creative, informative, helpful people surely we can think of ways to help others that are in this situation.

Thank you all in advance 😊

You do have the option of trying to get through to the IRS by phone and make a request.  Additionally, you can provide copies of your returns along with the W2s/1099s.  I realize that with the second option consulates prefer transcripts, but it is still an option.

Good Luck!
