Hi! This also happened to me. We have the same case. I am curious to know if you tried to go back to the US and successfully got your immigrant visa granted? I’m worried I won’t be able to go back and be with my boyfriend. We are still thinking whether we should do the fiance visa or get married now and get the spousal visa instead. I would appreciate your feedback! Thank you so much!

In most cases a spousal visa will be a better bet.

I agree, the spousal visa is superior to the K1, but if you are just starting out now, you need to look at your specific circumstances.
