What to expect after submitting I129F application?

So I finally submitted my i129F application yesterday for my k1 visa and I would like to know what to expect now? How long does it take before you get the notification that the application has been received? Does it usually take several weeks or does it only take a few days?

Expect nothing for 3-7 months. Sit back and enjoy family. Once you have your NOA2, which is your approval then things begin to move quickly.

on the contrary, I think it may be better to submit the I-129F now. if everyone else is waiting, then you could put yourself in queue and get ahead. Of course, this all depends on whether the USCIS slows down any further.
