Parent moved to US.  Entered March 2.  Still no social security card in hand.  All fees were paid during the NVC process.  Is there anything we missed?

Entered on March 7, I haven’t received anything either.I applied for my SSN when I filled out my DS-260. I called my local office and they explained they have not received anything. They explained I needed to apply by mail sending original documents. She told me she didn’t recommend it because so many things are being lost in the mail lately and they did not accept drop offs. They do not take any responsibility for things that get lost. So she said the best thing would be to wait until all this passes 😔

My K1 fiancee applied for their SSN card on March 13 and was told to wait 4 weeks. In the SAVE database it has said  "Case Returned to Agency" for several weeks now. However, she has not received the SSN card yet in the mail.
I guess it might just be a long waiting game...

We applied for a SSN in December. Still no card.

In the SAVE database it says "Case Returned to Agency" on December 23rd.

It's curious as we applied for the card at an office in New Mexico but SAVE says that it was returned to a Maryland office!

We re-applied for a SSN by mail this week and received a letter today saying that we did not provide a document to prove legal alien status even though the green card and passport were submitted. The letter then said "Please contact us when you can come in for a personal interview". Will call Monday to see if we can schedule the interview without having to wait for the offices to officially to the public.

UPDATE: The card finally came in the mail today. Had to call our local office around 10 days ago  to "push" the submission through, whatever that meant...
