Hello Bjh!

Did you figure out a way to get a credit report for your wife?

I am in the same situation. I do not have an SSN.

Thanks a lot! It will help me as well if you found an answer.

What I did was to go on annualcreditreport.com and fill out all the fields, after submitting I got error codes and made a screenshot. That screenshot I printed and submitted with my I-944

I then described that I don't have a SSN yet and therefore was not able to obtain a US credit report.

I had my biometrics and my I-485 is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

Note that USCIS currently states "Applicants and petitioners whose applications or petitions are postmarked on or after July 29, 2020, should not include the Form I-944 or provide information about the receipt of public benefits on Form I-485, Form I-129, Form I-129CW, Form I-539, or Form I-539A." https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/public-charge/injunction-of-the-inadmissibility-on-public-charge-grounds-final-rule

I made her an authorized user on 2 of my credit cards months before she arrived, so that is how she had a credit score without having a SSN. If you didn't do this, I think a formal letter from a credit bureau may suffice.
