I have not yet received my conditional green card. But out of curiosity, what is the expiration date of a conditional green card? Is it always the second anniversary date of marriage? Or is it the date of 2 years after the issue date of conditional green card? Thank you in advance.

In relation to the question above, I received my conditional PR card just this February 2020. It says in the card: Resident Since 01/07/2019 (this was when the USCIS received our application forms) and Card Expires 01/07/2021.

With that being said, I should be submitting ROC 90 days before it expire, correct?

Thank you.

It sounds like there is an error on your card. The resident since date should be the date you were approved (not the day you filed but after an interview if you had one- when they approved your 485) People have gotten misprinted cards like that before- showing the resident since date for the date they filed originally and not the approval date. You need to send your card back with the i90 if this is the case. Hopefully they fix the issue before the expiration date on the card or else the system will think you need to file ROC when you dont. If you just got the card in Feb 2020 then it should be good until Feb 2022.

Thank you, Villanelle for this response!

My husband (USC) and I have started compiling our docs for the ROC and I chanced upon this thread. We were actually surprised that come January 2021 my PR will expire.

We’ll read and review the I90.
