So I've been snooping around and it seems like Utah is one of those places that's not too relevant to have a thread on it's own so I decided to make one myself!

Here Utah filers can discuss & share their timelines, progress, issues with their cases, etc.

I'll start by adding my timeline so far:

AOS sent: 10/22/2019

NOA1: 11/06/2019

Biometrics appointment: 12/04/2019

RFIE: 12/27/2019

RFIE response sent: 01/07/2020

RFIE received by USCIS: 01/10/2020

Case is ready to be scheduled for interview: 01/31/2020

Best of success to everyone out there!

Note that not all Utah filers will be interviewed in SLC. It goes by zipcode and local field office. Some UT filers will be interviewed in other border states based on their location.

Oh really? I didn't know that...

So if I'm close to las vegas than SLC would my interview be in Vegas for example?

It goes by zip code, not always proximity.

Also glad to see I’m not alone. We filed in May 2020 and received NOA in late May. We’re still waiting for my husband’s biometric appointment  and hope it happens soon. Has anyone had a biometrics appointment since covid started? I’m just surprised we still haven’t heard anything after 6 months.

We did send in an email about 3-4 weeks ago for a status update and were supposed to hear back by dec 3rd. Still nothing, so we wait!

Just an update on our case. We never heard back, but we just got a letter today scheduling my husband’s biometric appointment for Feb 19. Finally feel like something is happening :)

Almost 9 months for Biometrics that seems like a long time. I am glad your case is moving guys

Thanks! Yes, it took forever. Covid has really slowed things down. I hope they can get everything moving quicker.
