Hi All,

NVC asked to submit a divorce paper, which i already had submitted with USCIS, but I did that again last week but it still shows as submitted instead of accepted or under review. I called NVC and they said currently processing papers file in December 4th, does it really mean my files goes back another 2 months? Its really hard to believe they will put the file back in Queue for additional documents. Does anyone have any experience on how fast they are on reviewing additional documents?

Did you forget to upload the divorce paper to NVC in the beginning? Just curious to see if you accidentally forgot to upload or if NVC asked for it later on.

@rkshokz I did not forget to upload, they never asked for these papers when filing for NVC, i had these papers sent when i filed with USCIS. When your file got approved by USICS all the papers should have been forwarded to NVC for further processing.

On CEAC it doesn’t say you have to submit the divorce papers, but it says on the NVC instructions website that you have to submit them (even if you already sent them to USCIS).

  • 1 month later...

hey LilyJ,

I just got an email that they are reviewing my case at nvc for the additional documents they requested. However when i check my account at CEAC, it still show that document is submitted not accepted. How long will it take for receiving a letter that my case complete and ready to be transferred to embassy?

Thanks

Raj
