Hi. Just got an email that I got approved for the expedite. I checked the status, it is still at nvc. Once it is ready, i will sched interview.

We sent expedite request last week, and we just receive the acknowledgement of our request today.

We are now on the 4th week after DQ and document still at NVC.

I think it will take another 6 weeks for the IL, but still hoping we will receive it within the week.

Hoping we get our IL, really soon!!

If you get approved for your expedite NVC will not schedule your interview .. you will do this (once your case file is at the embassy)

Just an update..

our request for expedite was approved.

Now my visa immigrant status states that:

"Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center. "

But we have not received any interview date from NVC.

what do we do next?

Looks like they used a form letter.   As an expedite you won't receive your interview date through NVC, you will schedule your own interview.

I gave you a link to a guide for the Philippines earlier .. for what is NEXT

Shall I wait for the status to be READY before calling? Or can I call even though it shows IN TRANSIT only?

But I plan to wait for another day before calling US EMBASSY here for the interview sched.

CEAC status has to show READY (Case file has to be at the embassy.) before you schedule the interview.

You can also schedule online through the profile you create to register your delivery address

Visa status was quickly changed from "In Transit" to "READY" within the day yesterday.

I called USEM - ML, the woman I talked to said to still wait for the interview notice from either NVC or USEM.

I can't schedule my interview without the notice...

NO IL notice/schedule.. can't proceed with medical.

I plan to call again tomorrow.

There is nothing in this "magical" letter except a link to their website for the 5 STEPS ... which I have included here >  https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/us-embassy-usem.html

Thousands upon thousands have scheduled and completed their interviews without this "notice"

You can schedule the interview online through the same profile that you need to set up for registering your delivery address (links within the website I gave you), or if you call  just tell them you got the notice (email)  ... ya it is sort of a white lie, but like said all it has is a URL directing you to their website.

I would like to ask if this applies for F4B visa schedule as well? I got my DQ on 17th Jan 2020 and waiting for my Interview Letter. How long does it takes for my visa interview schedule?

Thank you 😊

Thank you 😊

shelo is EXPEDITE, and will schedule the interview instead of NVC.

All normal immigrant visas have to wait for NVC to complete the scheduling and send you the Interview Letter.

You can move your interview date to an earlier date if there are openings, once your case file is at the embassy and your CEAC status shows READY, info here >>  https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/us-embassy-usem.html   (interview schedule tab)
