If you wouldn't mind sharing, how do you plan on contacting the GUZ embassy? It seems like most of the phone numbers and emails on the GUZ website and on VisaJourney are for NOA1/NOA2/Interview support :(

I got contact information from UStraveldocs.com which is the same as the embassy page. But i'm not sure if the numbers listed route to the US or if the people are actually in China. I called the US number and was told the only way they can help me is if I submit an inquiry online first. (I've been trying to get my wife's interview location changed for a while now).

I've called and emailed around the different US departments and embassies, but they all refer me to fill out the online inquiry form.

https://china.usembassy-china.org.cn/visas/immigrant-visas/contact-us/immigrant-visa-unit-question/

It's a bit nervewracking because it takes them 5-10 business days to respond with no confirmation email they even received my inquiry.

This might be the right time and case to ask a congressional member for help.

Only thing to contact the embassy/consulate is through the UStraveldoc China page. I did that and got a reply and saying this below :

🤷‍♂️

Quote

On Friday, January 31,2020 President Trump signed a proclamation barring entry to the United States of most foreign nationals who traveled to China within the 14 days immediately prior to arrival in the United States. The proclamation is in effect as of Sunday, February 2. This action follows the declaration of a public health emergency in the United States related to the novel coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, China.

The U.S Embassy in Beijing and the U.S. Consulates General in Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Shenyang suspension of services. Due to the ongoing situation relating to the novel coronavirus, the U.S. Embassy and Consulates have very limited staffing and may be unable to respond to requests regarding regular visa services.

Please note that the validity of a visa cannot be extended regardless of its type. The validity of an immigrant visa is tied to the expiration date of the applicant's medical report. The applicant should carefully check the expiration date listed on the visa after receiving the visa package, and enter the United States before the visa expires.

Alternatively, please contact the U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou through the web form at https://china.usembassy-china.org.cn/visas/immigrant-visas/contact-us/immigrant-visa-unit-question/.

I guess you can contact thru the web form in the quotes above. I hope everyone statuses will be better soon, it's a mess for everyone now with the 2019 novel coronavirus outbreak.
