Hello everyone. I submitted I-485 package to USCIS around March 2019 without submitting Medical Form I-693. Then i received a courtesy letter for the Form I-693.  So I went to get my medical done and got my sealed I-693 Form from civil surgeon around April to May 2019. Currently I have an interview coming up next month Feb 2020, do i still have to redo the medical? Or is it still valid for two years? Please provide any advise. Thank you.

Yes you have to do medicals  for the interview. medical is valid for 2 years once you submit to USCIS( this in case if your priority date becomes retro). they are valid 60 days from the day the doctor signed off to submit to USCIS

Since you did not submit the I-693 with your AOS package, it is valid for two years from the date the physician signed it. Just give them the sealed envelope at your interview, you will be fine.

@Donald120383 - The 60 day period comes in to play if you do the medical before submitting the package to USCIS.

I did - this is literally what I did as well. Filed Feb 2019, received courtesy letter in April, did the medical in May/June, submitted the I-693 at my interview in Dec.

if you do your medical after submitting the I-485, it is good for two years as long as it is in a sealed envelope. OP's I-693 is good till April/May 2021, they do not need to do the medical again.
