    the assumption from the administration here is that people who are doing AOS are doing fraud is wrong. Congress wrote the immigration law that you can adjust status or file at consulate. Everyone has a situation that is different. Some are privileged to walk into consulate and their immigrant visa is issued while others have to wait months/years/decades. Anyways the admin is gone in 2 years or atleast post novembers where things will get challenged. It explains the urgency in meme orders

    this trump memo is a joke. i think this will end up in courts and will get challenged in courts all the way. I expect a lot of lawsuits filed to choke the administration Yes there is misuse of visas but the majority of people who come to this country genuienly follow the law. Nothing is perfect but so is the guy who wrote this meme Congress writes the immigration law not some meme from the guy in white house. Come to think of it some consulates dont have appointments for up to 6-12 months . How are they gonig to handle the sudden flood of new applicants ??

    Big red flag was her trying apply for visa in your brothers country of residence. unfortunately its a hard battle now she is already flagged..

    it can take weeks . no idea how long it takes really as each FOIA case it sorted to categories ? simple request might get turned around in a few weeks while complex take months

    she can file a FOIA with USCIS for her entire case file . you will get all the petition document including form approvals . Basically her entire immigration paper work in a CD. it will cost you 0$ for it For N-400 i call bull on the lawyer fees. File N-400 online and keep the 3.5k in your bank

    i would rather get it done the same day than wait for another 3 months for oath ceremony with 1000 other strangers.

    its crazy why USCIS cant just do oath right after interview for approved candidataes with no name change.
