Interesting, yea they just said what I uploaded wasn't valid and that I needed to upload a valid Police Certificate. Someone said they just marked the Police Certificate as an unavailable document and in the comment section said that it was sent directly to the embassy. I'm trying that now to see if it works.

You won't be able to upload a valid New Zealand "Police Certificate" because that isn't a document that exists. The outcome of the section 14 vetting process will be sent to the Auckland Consulate regardless of what you do in CEAC.

I'm guessing that the person who looked at your case at the NVC just didn't understand the process as it pertains to New Zealand.

Just got off the phone with NVC (July 27, 2020) - she said to mark that document as Not Available (it's one of the options on the left on the document submission page) and leave a comment. I left the comment "The New Zealand police department sent this information to the US Consulate in Auckland, who informed us via email that they have sent the document to the NVC." Then I hit submit documents.

@JackN, @VMikaele or @DSB27

Did marking the NZ Police certificate as not available work for you?

I uploaded the Section 14 form and confirmation from the NZ Vetting service that it was issued to the Auckland Consulate as the "NZ Police Certificate" and they rejected it.

Trying to work out how to avoid something similar happening again!
