Physical presence for CRBA

Hello please help me i am us citizen and my child is born abroad .. in the CRBA form how long we have to show our presence in us because i am going bavk and forth from us since 2000 and i dont have that recorded dates i only have last five years dates available .. does that works or i have to get all the dates starting from 2000 ...? Please help its urgent... thanks

Were you physically present in the US for 5 years, 2 of which after the age of 14?

Yes i was present in the us for more than five years.

Then do as much as you can. The more proof like doctor bills, pay stubs, school/college transcripts the better the chances are you will get the CRBA approved.

When was your child born?  Remember, the only physical presence that counts is the time before he/she was born.  Unless the child was just now born, you will need to go back at least a little further than 5 years to show a total of 5 years before the he/she was born.

What country? For me in the Philippines, it was about a week after the results of our DNA test was sent to USEM.  This process is actually kind of quick in the Philippines.

Depending on the country visa stamps are easy to track.   All that matters is that you show that you were in the US enough to transmit citizenship with atleast 2 years after turning 14.

Me , it took 2 months , now my baby is a  U.S Citizen 😍😍!

Hi how was the interview? I filed for CRBA. And yesterday they received our papers. Im quite anxious about how long it takes to get an interview. Some would say just 5 days. My husband is a dual citizen. After we get married he stayed in the philippines to manage our business. Quites anxious for their approval for our petition.
